Alright folks this is the official prompt post for Snowpremacy 2013. This post will contain a lot of important information, so please take the time to read everything carefully. It will make everything much easier for your mods.
Since it was brought to our attention in the previous post, that there are some writers in the Muse Slash fandom that are not Belldom writers, this year we will be including other pairings as well. It is our hope that this will allow many more writers the ability to participate in this event. When filling out the template below please indicate whether you would or would not be comfortable writing a non Belldom pairing. Or on the other hand, if you are not a Belldom writer, please indicate whether you would or would not be comfortable writing a Belldom pairing. The more information you give about your writing preferences, the better. Once prompts have been given, they will not be switched out, unless you have spoken to one of the mods.
Below is the official template that we will go by. When commenting below, please use the template and my example to help you complete the form as fully as you can. Again, the more information you provide, the better!
Pairing:
Rating/Setting: the rating that you'd like your fic to be and your preference of AU or non AU
Prompt: keep your holiday fic prompt simple, try to restrict it to one sentence
Likes: things you'd like to see in your fic
Dislikes: things you'd prefer to not see in your fic
Would you be comfortable writing a different pairing other then the one you requested: a yes or no answer will do
Additional comments: if there is anything else you'd like the writer to know, this is the place to do that
Example:
Length of fic: The holiday's are fast approaching and with that we know that everyone will be getting more and more busy. For that reason, a drabble length fic will be encouraged for each prompt. However, it is the authors discretion to make it longer if they wish. We don't want to stifle anyone's creativity.
If you sign up and receive a prompt you will be expected to fulfill the prompt that you are given. We are all aware that real life happens, and for some reason, if you are unable to fulfill your prompt, please try to let your mods know as soon as possible. That way no one gets left out. If you feel that you will not have time to participate, maybe you'd like to try and be a back-up writer instead? If that is more to your liking, in the post previous to this D, sent out a call for back-up writers. That is always an option, so please consider that as well.
Prompting will begin now, and remain open for about a week. All comments are screened, and since this is a secret-santa type event, try your best to keep everything a secret. This community is all about having fun, and keeping in the spirit of holiday gift giving. If you have any questions at all, please let one of your mods know!
